Set General Options user input not saved to file

When testing stochastic data binding for issue #4, General Options input were not saved to file.; they default to 0s.

In this scope (version 4.3.1), fix what is needed to store (validated) user input into the inputfile data object when the user "Sets" general options (clicks the Set button in General Options).
