Zeus 0.3.0
Zeus 0.3.0 turns the inspector into a much more capable place to understand,
review, and navigate agent work. It also improves multi-project startup,
agent-driven orchestration, and visual clarity across the app.
Highlights
- A complete Git review workspace. Review now shows repository and branch
context, staged and working-tree changes, branch selection, pull-request
navigation, and the actions needed to stage and commit without leaving Zeus. - Contextual code navigation. The Code inspector has Changed and All files
trees scoped to the selected checkout, with lazy directory loading, Git
status, filtering, keyboard navigation, and consistent reveal behavior from
Review, Quick Open, and terminal paths. - A richer session briefing. The redesigned Info panel brings together
identity, attention state, location, lifecycle, lineage, runtime, worktree,
artifact, and usage context for the selected session. - Better project startup. Zeus now restores the active workspace and
provides a clearer workspace selector for moving between projects. - More capable hosted agents. Agents can request native screenshots through
MCP, and delegated work is routed through Zeus more reliably. - New focused themes. Zeus Dark and Zeus Dark High Contrast add monochrome
options, alongside more consistent terminal color behavior for local and
remote sessions.
Install and upgrade
Zeus 0.3.0 is a universal macOS build for Apple silicon and Intel and requires
macOS 15 or later. This release is ad-hoc signed rather than Developer ID
signed or notarized. Download zeus-0.3.0-universal.dmg below and follow the
macOS installation guide if Gatekeeper
blocks the first launch.
Homebrew installation and Zeus's built-in updater require Developer ID signing
and notarization, so neither is available for this release. Upgrading from an
earlier version is a manual download and install.
