World 2.0.1

Fixes country, currency, and language searches returning records outside supplied filters. Search alternatives are now grouped so every result must satisfy all filters, including when the search string is empty.

For example, filtering to iso2=FR while searching for Germany now returns an empty result rather than Germany.

Upgrade

With an existing ^2.0 constraint:

composer update nnjeim/world

For an exact version pin:

composer require nnjeim/world:2.0.1

Deploy the updated lock file. No database migration, data refresh, or configuration change is required. Dataset contents and runtime requirements are unchanged from 2.0.0. Existing 1.x tags remain available.

Verification

  • Regression tests reproduced the bug before the fix in all three affected modules.
  • 12 new cases cover excluding filters, matching filters, both search fields, searches without filters, and empty searches.
  • Full suite: 57 tests, 1,670 assertions.
  • Supported PHP/Laravel CI matrix passed.
