The "params" configuration file

The “params” configuration file tells the plugin what params you need for your generator. At the moment of generation the plugin will ask the params values.

Ex.:

#yourProject/generators/Your Generator/params.ftl

param1=some default value
param2=another param

Each param value will be processed by the template engine suggested by the params file extension. So you can have dynamic params or params based on previous params values.

#yourProject/generators/Your Generator/params.ftl

param1=some value
param2=${param1?upper_case}
param3=${param2} plus more text
