DeskControl Pro v5.0.1

Corrective patch release following the rejected v5.0.0 physical tablet validation.

  • Windows now renders the same DeskControl dashboard as Android and is the authoritative editor for all 20 Quick Launch slots, weather, and logical audio mappings.
  • Android automatically opens the six-digit pairing flow after discovering an unpaired PC, with explicit connection/error states and secure-channel retry feedback.
  • The 16:10 tablet layout keeps the header, all dashboard cards, all 20 Quick Launch tiles, and Power Control visible without normal page scrolling.
  • Quick Launch uses validated typed actions only: application, folder, HTTP(S) website, allowlisted Windows settings, and allowlisted system actions. Android sends only a slot ID.
  • Windows configuration is persisted with DPAPI protection, pushed to authenticated tablets in real time, and resent after reconnect.

Protocol compatibility remains 5.0.0. Automated and installed-public validation is included; final acceptance still requires the repeated physical TABWEE T20 gate.
