Playback

• Tracks no longer stop a few seconds in and skip. A preloaded track whose download failed is now refused and reloaded from a fresh URL instead of being played.
• Fixed: changing the volume reset crossfade, playback rate and gapless.

Local files

• Scanned files show real tags — title, artist, album, duration — and embedded cover art.
• Tag editor handles cover art: add, replace, remove.
• Assign folders from the playlist page, and give local playlists their own cover image.
• Fixed: removing a song from a folder-backed local playlist did nothing.

macOS

• Media keys reach the app again — play/pause, next and previous, plus the Control Center scrubber.

Performance

• Less CPU when idle: timers that ran every second now stop when nothing is playing.
• Fewer GPU layers, and large blur filters replaced with gradients where the result is identical.
• Per-effect switches under Settings → Potato PC → Manage, for tuning on weaker machines.

Interface

• Library page rebuilt with filtering, sorting and keyboard navigation.
• Artist page can show every song, not just the top six.
• Fixed: right-clicking a card in Made for you also played it.
