Noah Tools Guide: How to Launch Masternode and Become a Validator(ENG)
Noah Tools Guide: How to Launch Masternode and Become a Validator The Noah tools platform offers various opportunities for Noah blockchain usage and money-making. One of the most profitable is Validation. Anyone can run their own Masternode and join the army of Noah Validators who maintain the blockchain and keep it stable. We want to simplify this process, so we have prepared a detailed guide on how to become a Validator on the Noah tools platform.
Validation on the Noah tools platform is a highly responsible process that affects the whole system’s stability. It requires technical savvy as well as experience in node launching, administering Linux-based servers, and working in the Linux environment. Running a node is a difficult task for common users without a technical background. But if you have enough knowledge, we welcome you to read our guide. Launching your own node in Validator mode It’s a simple process that takes only a few steps but it creates prospects for great profit. Let’s complete this exercise together!
docker pull noahblockchain/node
docker run -p 26656:26656 -p 26657:26657 -p 26660:26660 -p 8841:8841 -p 3000:3000 -v ~/node:/root/noah/ noahblockchain/node noah node --network-id=noah-mainnet-1 --chain-id=mainnet
A working environment will be created for this node after the first launch. A working noah directory will appear inside your home directory. It will contain all the configs of the Validator. You need to write cat $HOME in the console/terminal window to discover your home directory in OS Linux or macOS.
IMPORTANT! Noah private and public keys for your node will be generated inside your working directory. You need to save them! Don’t lose them, they cannot be restored!
Open the cat link in your browser and view the current status of the validator node, after launching a node.

You then need to wait for the node synchronization with the NOAH Network to finish. You’ll see Is Synced = YES when this process completes. This validator node will be ready to work with the network once this step is finished.
You can see the Public Key of the current node in Validator Info. It will be used to declare this node as a Validator.
docker stop noahblockchain/node
The node will restart in VALIDATOR mode. Declaring your node as a Validator Open NOAH Web Wallet (https://tools.noah-blockchain.com), open an address that you control, or create a new one. SAVE THE SEED PHRASE!
Open the MASTERNODE Tab (https://tools.noah-blockchain.com/#/masternode)

Fill in the fields: Your node’s Public Key, which you can get from the Validator Info in the previous step of this guide. Delegated Stake in NOAH Coins for this Validator. Your desired Validator’s Fee for other Delegators (this determines how much you’ll be taking from their rewards as a service fee): 0-100%. Press the “Declare candidacy” button.
It’s highly recommended that the Stake of this Validator be in the top 16 of stakes of other Validators. You can see other Validators’ parameters here: https://explorer.mainnet.noah-blockchain.com/validators You will receive Validation rewards in the wallet that was inserted in the “Address or domain” field.
Launching a Validator
You need to launch a Validator after declaring it. Find the “Set candidate on” sub-menu in the MASTERNODE tab of the NOAH Wallet.

Insert the public key of your Validator in the “Public key or domain” field and click on “Set candidate on”. This Validator will be launched in the NOAH Blockchain Network after this.
All done! Enjoy your rewards and tell others to delegate their coins to you so as to increase both your and their profits!
