Release list
caymanslm-kernel v1.2 — KernelSU-Next + backslashxx variants (SuSFS v2.3.0)
caymanslm-kernel v1.2 — LG Velvet 4G (LM-G910EMW).
- Updated SuSFS v2.2.0 → v2.3.0
- Added xxksu variant (backslashxx/KernelSU) alongside ksun (KernelSU-Next)
- Perfected xxksu hiding — injected SELinux edges no longer leak to apps
- Baked the Wraith
unameinto the kernel (root sees Wraith, apps see stock)
Two zips, pick your KSU fork — both SuSFS v2.3.0 + NoMount, Duck 0-danger:

Flash the AnyKernel3 zip. First install: flash it from a custom recovery like OrangeFox.
caymanslm-kernel v1.1 — KernelSU Next + SuSFS + NoMount
Custom 4.9.337 kernel for the LG Velvet 4G (LM-G910EMW, caymanslm) from LineageOS source — KernelSU Next + SuSFS + NoMount. Drop-in swap, dtbo untouched.
Tested on both stock Android 12 and LineageOS 22.2.
Changelog (since v1.0)
- Perfected kernel hiding — Duck Detector SELinux clean.
- Updated NoMount to v2.0.0 (needs the v2.0.0 metamodule).
- Fixed the Duck Detector crash/reboot.
- uname shows your brand to root, stock to apps.
caymanslm-kernel v1.0 — KernelSU Next + SuSFS + NoMount
Custom 4.9.337 kernel for the LG Velvet 4G (LM-G910EMW, caymanslm), built from LineageOS source (lineage-22.2). Drop-in kernel swap — dtbo untouched. Bootloader unlock + OrangeFox required.
ROM support: LineageOS 22.2 is the intended target. So far tested only on stock Android 12 (G91030a) — that's the ROM on the test device. It should run on LineageOS 22.2 as well (its native base), but that is not yet verified.
Stack
- KernelSU Next (legacy, manual hooks — non-GKI 4.9, no KPROBES)
- SuSFS v2.2.0 — sus path/mount/kstat/map, uname + cmdline +
/proc/versionspoof, symbol hiding - NoMount — mountless module engine (
/proc/mountsstays stock)
Hardening
/proc/config.gzredacted (noCONFIG_KSU*exposure);dmesgroot-only- Broad symbol/debug disclosure stripped (
KALLSYMS_ALL,DEBUG_INFO, kcore, devmem, ftrace, dynamic_debug off) - Fails closed on kernel oops (
PANIC_ON_OOPS=y) - EDL recovery path preserved
Known bugs
- Duck Detector (
com.eltavine.duckdetector) hard-crashes the kernel in SELinux enforcing mode — an unprivileged app can reboot the device just by launching it. Root-caused to KernelSU's runtime SELinux policy work; unresolved, reported upstream. Workaround:setenforce 0, or don't run it. - "Zygisk required" if you open the manager too soon after a reboot (ReZygisk daemon still starting). Workaround: close the app, wipe it from recents, and reopen.
Flashing
- RAM-boot to verify first:
fastboot boot <trial.img>(optional but recommended). - Flash the
.zipfrom OrangeFox (AnyKernel3, ramdisk-agnostic). Backs upboot;dtbountouched. - Reinstall susfs4ksu + ReZygisk modules afterward.
- Verify with
uname -a(should report4.9.337-perf, today's build).
One slot at a time; keep the other bootable.
