HIT v0.6.7: research-development record and manuscript exhibits
This release packages the completed work from PRs #34–#37, plus version-bound release checks. It is a nonbreaking development release. The working manuscript remains unsubmitted and subject to responsible-author review.
What changed
- Retained fourteen Jev advisory responses, with source limits and offline replay.
- Recorded the author's bounded Ofqual findings. Counsel and the overall comparison remain unresolved.
- Added three qualitative conditions, a working methods/resource manuscript and a sixteen-claim register.
- Added three reproducible figures: assessment architecture, Ofqual event/publication timing and qualification preservation.
- Preserved a frozen, equivalent-information graph/table task and two first-attempt assistant responses. Both detected all four injected changes; the task found no scored difference. This small, highly cued synthetic exercise establishes no comparative advantage or human benefit.
- Added tracked-file, dependency, response and figure checks. Historical replay retains exact earlier metadata instead of rewriting experimental inputs.
Verification and limits
All 34 current local verification commands passed. GitHub validation passed on the exact release commit, 4336b8acd16d571ef9b5ab1d8ca1ecc2ea0eb01e. The attached verification record and checksums identify the source package. Historical replay requires a full clone; downloaded source archives do not contain Git history.
The normative contract remains 0.4.0, the conformance engine 0.5.0 and research maturity Level 2, Applicable. The historical 0.6.0 human result is unchanged. All eight stable-release gates remain unresolved. Current-contract replication remains candidate and scoring-prohibited. This release supplies no independent implementation audit, institutional effectiveness result, regulatory-sandbox participation or certification.
Archive and citation
The verified exact-version DOI is 10.5281/zenodo.23252877. All 382 files in the Zenodo archive match the tagged commit byte-for-byte. The attached publication receipt records the archive comparison and observed publication details. Earlier DOIs continue to identify their original archives.
The immutable tag retains its original prepared metadata. The later DOI and publication receipt are recorded in a follow-up repository update; the tag and archive have not been moved or rewritten. A software DOI does not establish peer review or scientific approval of the working manuscript.

Historical post-release status: 16 October 2026
HIT is in bounded closeout, with a maintainer decision due 30 October 2026. See the closeout plan, author-review worksheet and tracking issue #41. The closeout update was merged in PR #40, and validation passed on its exact merged commit.
This later work is outside the v0.6.7 archive. The tag, attached assets and exact-version DOI remain unchanged. Maintenance has not started; the decision date does not authorize automatic closure, manuscript submission or v1.0. Pending author judgments, independent implementation review and current-contract replication remain separate obligations.
Current post-release status: 17 October 2026
HIT has entered maintenance after the author-disposition record and verified transition were merged in PR #42 and PR #43. The maintenance receipt identifies the checked closeout revisions. All 36 local checks and hosted validation passed on the final merged maintenance revision, 8272ca76c90973985573b48530fe5cb61a73254a.
The six-group disposition queue is recorded. The current manuscript remains unapproved; revision, whole-draft review and submission are deferred. Source review remains partial. Every recorded research limit, explicit deferral and unresolved requirement is preserved, including all eight v1.0 gates and current-contract replication. Maintenance covers corrections and scoped feedback; the repository remains public and usable.
This status update is outside the v0.6.7 archive. It creates no new release or DOI and changes no tag, attached asset, archived file, scientific finding or maturity claim. See the current closeout and maintenance record.
