This is v1.0.0 of the Constellation module for Hyperdrive. This is meant to be used by the Hyperdrive service.

• Supported features:

  • Registration (whitelisting) with NodeSet.io and the Constellation contracts.
  • Minipool creation and staking
  • Minipool exiting
  • Vanity address searching
  • Signed exit message uploading to nodeset.io
  • Retrieving stats / information about the Constellation network, such as parameter settings and current node count

• Work-in-progress features:

  • Claiming node operator rewards

Changes During Beta

• Signed exits are now encrypted locally before sending them to nodeset.io, in addition to regular TLS encryption.

  • Thanks to @poupas for suggesting this enhancement.

• Submitting requests to the daemon now requires JWT authorization.

  • The secret key to use for API authorization can be passed in with the -k flag. It should be at least 48 bytes long.
  • The secret key for authorizing requests to the Hyperdrive daemon can be passed in with the -hk flag.

• nodeset.io deployment names are no longer tied directly to the Hyperdrive network selection. They are now handled by individual modules.

• Improved error handling on nodeset.io requests to provide more information on what's wrong.

• Increased the task cooldown when the system is not ready yet to 15 seconds.

• Fixed a bug that erroneously printed log warnings about validators with already-uploaded signed exits not being included when uploading a new signed exit.
