Codeboard 1.0.0
Codeboard 1.0.0 provides editable drawing, storyboards, shot animation, audio, review and export through JavaScript/TypeScript and the CLI.
Install with Node.js 22.22 or later:

This release reorganizes the framework documentation around reader workflows, embeds visual studies in the relevant guides, and adds offline docs search / docs read commands with bounded results and version/hash validation. The attached plugin contains ten agent skills and their generated offline references. Extract it and follow the agent setup guide; install the engine separately from npm.
New projects use document schema 5 and SQLite container format 3. Older schema-3/4 projects remain readable but need migration to a new file before editing:
codeboard migrate old.cboard new.cboardKeep the original project for its history and request receipts. Review manifests now use codeboard-review/2; animatic packages require a new destination; movie exports require an explicit audio policy when audio is authored. See CHANGELOG.md for the changed contracts and documented feature limits.
The release workflow validates and installs one npm tarball on Linux, Windows and macOS before publication. Media export requires FFmpeg/ffprobe. Native rendering can differ across fonts and platforms; the framework does not claim unrestricted interchange, rigging or compositing support.
