This is a release to indicate that gamedata was updated. There are no changes to the extension.

Building the extensions are a hassle, so grab the gamedata from the repo here.

"These are the mysteries" edition

@nosoop nosoop released this 16 Aug 11:50

Added

  • Windows gamedata. Was neglected.

Fixed

  • CTFPlayer::CalculateMaxSpeed would occasionally be called with an invalid client, for whatever reason. The extension now checks to see if the client is actually in-game.

Changed

  • Source file locations for CDetours/detours.cpp and asm/asm.c are now relative to the SM root, instead of traversing a couple of directories upward. This allows the repository to be located anywhere, instead of assuming to be two subdirectories deep in SourceMod (under extensions/, likely).

"Even the simplest of extensions can still have bugs" edition

Disables firing the forward on CTFPlayer::TeamFortress_CalculateMaxSpeed() calls that occur when a map isn't running (e.g., when the server exits).

This should clear up issues regarding error messages regarding invalid entities.

Extension dependency loading is weird.

Proper package release with an extension that cleans up after itself and an include file that autoloads the extension. Haven't had to do that before.

Linux only.
