xOCD 1.4.31 Changelog
Integrated Benchmark
Added an integrated DirectX 12 GPU benchmark.
Uses one identical fixed native-4K workload on every supported GPU.
No GPU-specific multipliers, adaptive quality, resolution scaling or score normalization.
xOCD Score is calculated as:
Average FPS × 100
Added graphics, compute, VRAM and thermal validation phases.
Added average FPS, 1% low, 0.1% low, frametime, temperature, clock, power and stability results.
Benchmark renderer runs in an isolated process so xOCD remains available if an unstable overclock crashes the test.
Added Quick, Standard and Extended validation durations.
Added Windowed, Borderless and Fullscreen modes.
Added configurable thermal safety cutoff.
Reports are saved as styled HTML files under:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\xOCD\BenchmarkReports
Added an Open Reports Folder button.
Removed the unnecessary workload selector because the benchmark uses one fixed workload.
Adaptive Tuning Lab
Promoted Adaptive Benchmark Lab to Adaptive Tuning Lab.
Removed the Beta label.
Integrated it with the native xOCD benchmark.
Automatically establishes a baseline before tuning.
Searches core and memory offsets separately.
Requires repeated passes before accepting a candidate.
Performs final combined stability validation.
Rejects candidates after crashes, rendering errors, thermal stops, telemetry loss, consistency loss or performance regression.
Added automatic restoration after failed or interrupted tuning.
Added an on-disk recovery journal.
Accepted results can be saved as GPU/VBIOS-specific profiles.
Full OSD Editor
Added a complete Full OSD Editor for the native xOCD overlay.
Changes now update the running OSD live.
Removed the Save Layout requirement; closing the editor automatically stores the layout.
Unchecking an element automatically realigns the remaining fields without leaving blank spaces.
Added unlimited telemetry-field selection.
Added custom labels, rows, columns, text sizes and colors.
Added optional history graphs for individual fields.
Added customizable:
OSD title
{app} application-name placeholder
Title visibility
Font family
Row height
Column width
Position
Scale
Resolution-aware scaling
Opacity
Update interval
Text, background and accent colors
Added Auto Arrange, Select All and Clear actions.
Fixed duplicate-looking overlay elements caused by overlapping saved positions.
Fixed native FPS capture disagreeing with the selected game.
Reduced OSD CPU usage and redundant redraws.
Profiles and Storage
Added per-GPU and per-VBIOS profile storage.
Profiles are isolated by GPU UUID and VBIOS version.
Added a selectable Main Profile for each GPU/VBIOS.
Added automatic Main Profile loading when xOCD starts.
Added profile import and export with multi-profile selection.
Application profiles now remain suppressed after Reset until the bound application closes.
Migrated settings, profiles, reports and overlay layouts from the old synVolt folder to:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\xOCD
xOCD no longer saves new data under the synVolt folder.
V/F Curve Editor
Added live V/F curve editing with a short debounce.
Every curve write is read back and verified.
Failed writes restore the last verified curve.
Flatten + Cap now keeps the selected voltage point as the unique highest-frequency point.
Higher-voltage points are placed one complete 15 MHz boost bin below the selected knee.
Added exact voltage-point locking when supported.
Set + Lock, Unlock and Reset now apply immediately.
The graph now uses the GPU’s actual voltage nodes.
Expanded the visible frequency range to 4000 MHz.
Performance and Reliability
Moved GPU setting writes and readback verification off the window thread.
Apply, Reset, Boost and V/F lock operations no longer freeze the interface.
Moved detailed NVAPI telemetry inventory off the window thread.
Reduced redundant gauge and telemetry repaints.
Reduced native-overlay redraw overhead.
Improved responsiveness while applying overclocks and running benchmarks.
Fixed application-profile requests being ignored when telemetry polling was active.
Fixed benchmark telemetry appearing frozen during a run.
Interface Improvements
Redesigned the Integrated Benchmark results and empty state.
Improved benchmark text contrast and readability.
Added matching custom xOCD title bars to:
Main dashboard
Options / Community
Full OSD Editor
Adaptive Tuning Lab
Integrated Benchmark
Added working drag, minimize, maximize, restore, close and edge/corner resizing.
Fixed Options / Community not being movable.
Fixed nothoov & pchoov displaying incorrectly in the title bar.
Improved high-DPI and smaller-window layouts.
Fixed controls being hidden until a window was manually resized.
Requirements
