Validation

Built from 9d954f5365f88a9b6ddf760e363466a529033c73. Source CI and the signed release workflow passed, including packaged self-checks and notarization of the app and DMG. Both downloaded assets matched GitHub's published SHA-256 digests.

The published ZIP passed Developer ID signature, stapled-ticket and Gatekeeper checks on macOS 27.0.1, followed by 200 real-WebKit assertions. Temporary WebKit stores were cleaned up and all tracked test processes exited. The DMG signature and stapled ticket also passed.

The strict release-candidate script reported a before/after metadata mismatch: the app root gained a com.apple.macl extended attribute. A complete manifest comparison confirmed every file hash, symlink, entry, mode, owner, timestamp, flag and prior extended attribute remained identical; the code signature still verified after the smoke test. The strict script is therefore recorded as a metadata-only failure, rather than a full pass.

Clean-Mac installation and upgrade/rollback were not exercised in this release run. Live permissions/devices, upload dialogs, printing, DRM and TLS trust are outside the smoke-test coverage.

CI and release workflows passed. Both published assets matched their GitHub SHA-256 digests. App and DMG signatures, stapled notarization tickets, and Gatekeeper assessments passed.

The local signed-app WebKit check on macOS 27 passed 139 assertions before stopping at an outdated profile-switch assertion: it expects the second profile to show traffic lights even though sidebar visibility now follows the window across profiles. The new sidebar-visibility unit tests passed in CI. The local browser smoke and strict release-candidate scripts therefore did not return an overall pass, and later browser assertions were not exercised. All 13 temporary WebKit stores were unregistered and both test processes exited. Clean-Mac installation and upgrade still need separate coverage.
