The mobile release: your desktop builds the index, your phone searches it.

Added

  • Mobile support (phones & tablets). isDesktopOnly is gone. The index your desktop already maintains syncs with the vault (iCloud / Obsidian Sync / Syncthing — no setup), and mobile reads it strictly read-only: a single writer means no sync conflicts, ever. Available on mobile: search (keyword + fuzzy title; semantic too when the embedding endpoint points at a remote server), Find Similar, both Discover modes, dismissing suggestions, and relation graph / semantic path generation (best on tablets). Desktop-only: building/updating the index, AI curation, MOC generation, purple-edge promotion.

  • Query-intent loading. On mobile nothing heavy runs at startup — the index loads when you first open the search panel or run a query command, with a visible loading state, a retry button on failure, and a size guard that politely refuses indexes over 300 MB instead of crashing the app. The settings page becomes a mobile-specific view: index status card with freshness timestamp, a Reload index button (for after a desktop rebuild), remote-endpoint fields with a localhost warning, query parameters, and the hidden-suggestions manager.

  • Visible semantic degradation (desktop too). If the semantic leg fails mid-query (endpoint down, provider hiccup), results no longer vanish into a blanket "Search failed" — keyword + fuzzy results still arrive and the status line says semantic search is temporarily unavailable.

Docs

  • READMEs (EN/zh-TW) restructured around the new architecture: "one index, every device" joins the differentiators, and a per-feature availability table spells out exactly what runs where.

Notes

  • Notes written on your phone appear in search after your desktop has indexed them (the settings card shows when that last happened).
  • Obsidian's minimum version stays 1.7.2.
