Fixed

  • No more lines along scaled scenes: a nested scene scaled inside another no longer shows a thin dark border at its top and bottom edges, in playback or in the exported video.
  • Exports match the stage: a nested scene stays inside its box in the export, as it does on the canvas. Precomposed groups, drawings and imported SVGs still show everything that reaches past their edge.
  • Renaming a frame on the canvas edits the title in place, instead of showing it twice.

Installing

macOS

AtomCut is not yet notarized, so on first launch Gatekeeper will say the app
"is damaged and can't be opened" or "cannot be opened because the developer
cannot be verified." This is expected for unsigned builds. After dragging
AtomCut into Applications, clear the quarantine flag once:

xattr -cr /Applications/AtomCut.app

Then open it normally. (Alternatively: right-click the app → Open → Open.)

Windows

SmartScreen may warn on first run. Choose More info → Run anyway.

Linux

  • AppImage: chmod +x AtomCut-*.AppImage && ./AtomCut-*.AppImage
  • Debian/Ubuntu: sudo dpkg -i AtomCut-*.deb

Once installed, AtomCut keeps itself up to date automatically — new versions are
offered in-app and install on relaunch.
