Mailers

This application has two mailers configured for sending notification emails.

AdminMailer

This mailer is located at app/mailers/admin_mailer.rb. This mailer manages notification emails sent to the administrator account upon creation of a new pending request. The corresponding email template is located in app/views/admin_mailer/pending_request_notification.text.erb.

ResultsMailer

This mailer is located at app/mailers/results_mailer.rb. This mailer manages emails sent to students submitting transfer requests through the main form. The corresponding email template is located in app/views/results_mailer/result_email.text.erb.

Viewing Emails on Local Environments

By default, emails sent from a local environment will not actually be sent. To view this emails, simply check the console from which rails s was run.

Mandrill Configuration

On the production server, emails are managed by Mandrill. Appropriate configuration settings are located in config/environments/production.rb.
