Am I missing a step ?

Hi all, thank you for the mod and the guiding really appreciated!

I followed the guide (gen2 device):

1. booted into maskrom mode, verified the device via system report
2. Backed up my partition
3. Downloaded and flashed the new boot partition (gen2)
4. installed ADB and verified it found the device
5. installed F-droid via ADB with a success message.
6. Nothing is showing up at my reader, I still have the same interface and can't find the F-droid app?

I can't find the F-droid app anywhere am I doing something wrong or missing a step ?

Hi,

You need to install an alternative launcher such as RelaunchX as well. Storytel's default launcher simply boots into the Storytel app and will not allow you to start other apps. Once you have installed RelaunchX the device should ask you whether you want to use the default Storytel launcher or RelaunchX when booting up.
