MiniGM 1.2.0 — the self-bot guard

maintenance is not a repair button. On whatever character receives it, it permanently learns weapon skills to max, professions and secondary skills (First Aid, Fishing, Cooking), every available spell, spends all talent points, inserts glyphs, enchants and gems gear, and fills the bags. With self-bot on (.playerbots bot self), that character is you. This release exists because that happened to a character that mattered.

Added

  • Self-bot guard. MiniGM watches for the server's Enable player botAI / Disable player botAI lines. While self-bot is on, Maint and Gear open a warning window listing every permanent change and send nothing until you type Accept (case sensitive). Verified line by line against MaintenanceAction::Execute in mod-playerbots.
  • Maint and Gear on yourself. Solo, each button offers its one command on your own character behind that same warning. MiniGM turns self-bot on, whispers you the command, waits for the bot AI's own reply (up to 30 s), then turns self-bot back off. If the server refuses self-bot, nothing else is sent. In a group: /mgm maintme and /mgm gearme.
  • Enter everywhere. Every prompt works by click or Enter: type Accept and press Enter to send, Esc to cancel — even if the text box lost focus.
  • The warning window scales. Drag its bottom-right corner grip (0.5-2.0x); size and position are remembered. /mgm reset restores all windows.
  • Hard block: autogear reset and bis are never sent — both destroy every equipped item first.
  • /mgm selfbot shows the guard state; /mgm selfbot off clears a stale flag.

Changed

  • Maint / Gear is now two buttons. Gear sends only autogear, so you can gear a character without maintenance teaching it professions and spending its talents. Maint sends maintenance + nc -loot.
  • One confirm window for everything. Modify Char's level and gold changes on yourself use the same 480 px warning window — one item per line, opaque, movable, and it shows the exact change (Parriahtest: add 10g 0s 0c). The old cramped StaticPopup is gone.

Fixed

  • A wrong confirm word no longer fails silently. The window stays open with a red error inside it and refocuses the box. Before, the only feedback was a chat line hidden behind the dialog.
  • The docs previously described maintenance as "repair, refill reagents, re-buff". That undersold it badly; COMMANDS.md now lists what it actually does, from the source.

Install: download MiniGM-Addon-1.2.0.zip, extract, drag the MiniGM folder into Interface\AddOns\, restart the client.

MiniGM 1.1.0

1.1.0 — alts remembered on join

  • Type a name… now pins the character to your alt list the moment it joins your party. Random bots arrive through addclass and never pass through this path, so they are never remembered; a typo never joins, so it is never remembered either. Works for characters on linked accounts and for the opposite faction (needs AllowTwoSide.Interaction.Group = 1 on the server). The pending name expires after two minutes if nobody shows up.
  • Fix: every button was dead while you were dead. The client refuses /say from a ghost, and every command went out on /say. Commands are now whispered to yourself while you are dead — the server parses . commands out of a whisper the same way. Full heal and Revive all always whisper yourself, alive or dead.

Download MiniGM-Addon-1.1.0.zip — the folder inside is named MiniGM and extracts straight into Interface\AddOns. The auto-attached "Source code" archives have the wrong folder name and will not load.
