Welcome to the Prismo wiki!

Prismo is a simple NFC access module that anyone can build.

The project was designed to be easily reproduced by any maker, so we chose common, accessible, and affordable components. The device reads NFC keys/tags and signals the result via two output pins — one for success, one for failure — so you can drive a relay, electromagnet, LED, buzzer, or any other actuator.

The module connects to your local network over WiFi and reports events via MQTT, making it easy to integrate into any smart home or access control setup.

The PCB

The board is designed in KiCad as a single-layer PCB, with a minimum spacing of 0.8mm between tracks and pads, so it can be manufactured using any standard process (including DIY etching or budget PCB services).
