• Detect the Steam interface language automatically and translate the plugin UI into English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese.
• Keep tab counters visible with long translated labels. Standardize detail button widths, add action icons and a translated “View website” button linking to the plugin’s GitHub repository.
• Show only the centered check and “You’re up to date” message in the empty Updates view (“Todo actualizado” in Spanish).
• Accept release tags such as v0.17, normalizing them to 0.17.0 for version comparison and manual installation.
• Show a loading spinner beside the selected release and a preparation status while its ZIP is being prepared.
• Keep watching for self-update completion so the old panel can close and the updated Decky panel reopen once the replacement version is confirmed.
• Count real elapsed time, including suspension: opening Quick Access or the plugin after four hours triggers a fresh update check. Retry overdue checks when connectivity returns, with duplicate requests and rapid retries suppressed.
