What's New

MP4 music videos are now excluded from the music database and PictureFlow. Rockbox detects video tracks inside MP4 containers (via the vide handler in MP4 hdlr atoms) and skips them during database scanning. No more "untagged" ghost entries from iTunes-synced music videos polluting your library.
Audio playback of video files via the file browser still works normally.
Note: Re-initialize your database after updating (Settings → General → Database → Initialize Now) to clear already-indexed music videos.

Faster transitions — fade duration reduced from 500ms to 250ms for a snappier feel when changing tracks.
Smarter color selection — saturation-weighted scoring now prefers vibrant colors over dull grays. A rich blue or red will win over a bland gray even with fewer pixels.
Hue-preserving contrast adjustment — when the accent color needs brightening/darkening for readability, channels are now scaled proportionally instead of shifted equally. A dark red stays red instead of washing out to pink.
Better dark art handling — luminance-based filter catches very dark saturated colors that previously slipped through, preventing near-black backgrounds.

Fixed backward scroll text glitch — album/artist text no longer flashes the wrong name for a frame when scrolling backward through albums.
Fixed artist text scroll — long artist names now scroll properly instead of resetting every frame.

Fixed WPS→menu blank screen flicker — removed intermediate LCD flush during theme transition that briefly showed the theme skeleton without content. The screen now updates atomically.
Hidden sub-menu header in PictureFlow — the page title bar no longer appears over PictureFlow, matching the home menu behavior.
