How to untie pwa app from public url?

My idea is

I want to load site -> add to home page -> come to pwa app (all assets will be loaded and cached) -> turn off public spa site.
After this way I want to use my pwa app private on smartphone. Can I do it?

I tried this and could make it work. But you need to use the cacheFirst strategy for every single request your app could make: pages, assets, third party content...

And remember that you won't get any updates... If you want to fix anything from your app, you'll need to set your web back live and change the published sw.js (once for change the cache strategy to networkFirst [offlinestrategy's default value], make your updates, and once for cacheFirst again before caching everything again to work offline).

(Alternatively) Maybe it's easier to hide your web behind a login wall? So it's not public, but it's easier to update if needed. And you can still cache everything to make it work offline...
