When mini.files is launched, it seems like a good idea to use mini.clue, especially with potentially many bookmarks. After adding MiniClue.ensure_buf_triggers(buf_id) to an autocmd MiniFilesBufferCreate, ' in mini.files has Neovim suggestions like ' | Line before jump, overriding mappings for mini.files (i.e. not possible to use bookmark feature anywhere).

How to have bookmark clues e.g. 'a, 'b, 'c? and some mappings beginning with g in mini.files?

One of the reasons to not automatically activate mini.clue with mini.files is the conflicting ' regarding bookmarks and Neovim's native marks.

Is there a reason you prefer mini.clue, instead of using the help window(g?) provided by mini.files?

@echasnovski I'm also wondering how to have bookmark clue suggestions like OP and I don't see why this is marked as the answer (the linked discussion talks about getting the mapping to work if mini.clues is also used, not getting the mapping suggestions with mini.clues). '<char> mapping works, but not suggestions for bookmark keys on '. g? shows the bookmark keys, of course, but that's not integration with mini.files unless mini.file buffers are special and this is not possible for some reason. mini.clue suggestions for bookmarks is as useful as mini.clue suggestions for anything.

The main problem is that triggers in 'mini.clue' are implemented as buffer-local mappings. This conflicts with 'mini.files' buffer local mapping for ' to navigate to the bookmark. As far as I can understand right now, it can only be one (act as 'mini.clue' trigger and show clues) or the other (act as 'mini.files' "ask user to press a single character and go to that bookmark").

So yeah, 'mini.clue' is a bit special here.
