What's New

llm-wiki 1.0 establishes stable provenance, identity, and multi-runtime contracts while keeping adoption gradual and existing optional metadata optional.

Trustworthy provenance

  • verified now means explicit human confirmation only; compile, lint, and due scans do not advance it.
  • Refresh writes changed upstream material as a new immutable raw revision with supersedes instead of overwriting evidence.
  • Git collection ingestion gains --manifest-only and --revision <ref> for pinned path/blob-SHA manifests without duplicate child bodies.

Safer deterministic lint

  • Text and JSON reports identify the running engine version and commit.
  • Optional llm_wiki_version and checker_sha declarations warn on drift; --strict-engine can gate CI.
  • Optional stable wiki_id values bind topic config to hub registry entries; mismatches fail named resolution closed and can be deliberately inspected/repaired with identity status|assign.
  • Footnote definitions/references and wiki-links are checked in article prose while code examples are ignored.
  • Raw coverage repair attaches a pointer only when exactly one compiled owner cites the same resolved local source. Ambiguity remains human-owned.

Organization and runtimes

  • Raw sources may use indexed namespaces below their existing type, such as raw/articles/news/daily/, without creating new raw types.
  • DeepSeek Harness gets a self-contained native /wiki filesystem skill and conservative installer.
  • Codex hooks gain Windows commandWindows launchers plus UTF-8/UTF-16 payload handling.
  • Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, DeepSeek Harness, and portable-agent documentation/packages are synchronized.

Compatibility

The new wiki identity and engine declaration fields are optional. Existing wikis continue to resolve as before unless both a registry id and config id exist and disagree. Editorially ambiguous fixes remain report-only.

Validation

All 16 checked-in test suites pass, including structural and packaging validation, local CLI behavior, session concurrency, runtime sync, Codex clean-home installation, and token-efficiency benchmarks.
