Markdown Everywhere 0.2.1 (Free) and Markdown Everywhere Pro 1.1.1 for Windows.

Fixed on Windows

  • Double-click a .md file, use Open with, or drop it on the window: it now opens. Before, Windows showed "Only .md and .markdown files open here" for every single file.
  • Opening a .md file while the app is already open now shows it in that window and brings it to the front, instead of starting a second copy of the app.
  • Links between files you opened one by one work, and the reader shows the real Windows path (C:\…).

  • Windows: Markdown-Everywhere-Free-windows-setup.exe (free) · Markdown-Everywhere-Pro-windows-setup.exe or .msi (Pro, 14 days free, then a $9.99 one-time key). If SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway.
  • Mac: same files as 0.2.0 (Free 0.2.0, Pro 1.1.0), signed and notarized. The Mac apps did not have this bug.
