SD2Cloud 1.6.1
SD2Cloud v1.6.1
Manage and back up your sd2psx memory cards, right on your PS2.
What's new in 1.6.1
- Options on a card's saves. TRIANGLE, with a card's saves on screen, opens the options: "Sync now" (it was on SQUARE), and "Sort by": the date, descending or ascending, or the name of the game. X changes a value, and the saves are listed the new way when the options are closed.
- Duplicates in "All saves". A save that more than one game card has (the same files, byte for byte, as a template put into every card) is shown once. The options there show them all again. Saves of the same name with anything different in them are always shown, whatever their dates.
- Pasting to a folder. The list of cards where saves are selected for a copy has the Files tab again: X opens the device's folders and START pastes the selected saves into the one shown, as
.psufiles. - MemCard PRO2. A microSD that was used in an sd2psx and in a MemCard PRO2 has the cards of both, and was taken for an sd2psx's. SD2Cloud now asks, once, which device it is in, and "Device", in the settings, changes the answer.
- A card that cannot be read when the cards are checked is tried again.
To update, use Settings > Check for updates, or copy the new files over the old ones.
SD2Cloud runs on the PS2 itself and works with the memory cards on the microSD of sd2psx-family devices (the MMCE; sd2psXtd firmware: sd2psx, PSXMemCard, PSXMemCard Gen2, PicoMemcard+/Zero). No PC required.
Cloud sync
- Syncs your memory cards with Google Drive, on demand or automatically every time you exit a game with IGR. Only the cards that changed are uploaded.
- Backups are the sd2psx's own
.mcdor, if you choose so in the settings, a.ps2, the format PCSX2 uses. - One-time Google account link with a code or a QR code; SD2Cloud can only access the files it creates.
- Keeps 10 backups per card by default; the oldest is removed only after the new backup is verified (SHA-256).
- Restores any backup from Drive, verified before and after writing; a changed card is synced first, so nothing is lost.
- The first setup offers to turn on automatic sync: it says how much space the SAS package takes on the memory card, installs it once you agree and shows the path to set in OPL. The package can be uninstalled in the settings.
Memory card manager
- Shows the saved data of each card the way the PS2 browser does, with animated 3D icons.
- Copies (several saves at once), moves and deletes saved data between the cards on the MMCE, and uploads a single item to Drive as a .psu file.
- Copies a whole card, as a
.zipwith the.mcdor the.ps2inside, to a folder of the MMCE or of a USB drive. - Organizes the cards in tabs: numbered cards, game (Game ID) cards, in folders named after each game, and boot cards.
- Marks the card the sd2psx is using and can make it take another one.
- Imports
.psufiles into any card and exports any item of a card as a.psu, from and to the MMCE or a USB drive (the Files tab). - Keeps templates: sets of saves to put into cards (Tools, on SELECT).
- Shows every game card's saves on one screen, sorted by date or by name.
Also
- Every operation that uploads, writes or deletes data asks for confirmation; uploads can be cancelled with the Circle button.
- Settings on START: sync all cards, automatic sync on or off, the SAS package, the IGR path, language, backups per card, backup format, update channel, check for updates, Google account and About. Changes are saved to
SD2Cloud/sd2cloud.inion the MMCE. - Returns to OPL on the MMCE, a memory card, USB, MX4SIO or the internal HDD (exFAT or APA), loading only the drivers of that device.
- Built-in updates, verified against the SHA-256 published on GitHub.
- Interface inspired by the PlayStation BB Navigator, with sound effects.
- English and Portuguese.
Installation: extract SD2Cloud-v1.6.1.zip to the root of the sd2psx microSD and open SD2Cloud from the OPL Apps tab. See README.txt for details.

SD2Cloud 1.6
SD2Cloud v1.6
Manage and back up your sd2psx memory cards, right on your PS2.
What's new in 1.6
- Templates. Tools (SELECT) > Templates: sets of saves kept on the MMCE, made by selecting saves on your cards, to put into other cards (the network settings every game's card should have, for example). A template can be applied to all game cards, to the cards you select, or only to update the saves the cards already have. One template can be the default: SD2Cloud tells when a game card lacks it, and "Auto-apply" puts it into a game's card when the game is left, with the automatic sync. "Linked games" gives a game templates of its own.
- Copy several saves at once. "Copy" on a save's page now selects it: X selects others on the same card, O leaves the card to select saves on other cards too, and START pastes them all into the card under the cursor, or into the card that is open. Pressed on the card they came from, START asks where they go: another card, a new card of their game, or a folder of the MMCE or of a USB drive (as
.psufiles). - SD2Cloud outside the sd2psx. The program can also be installed on a USB drive, an MX4SIO or the internal HDD (exFAT or APA): the shortcut and the IGR helper on the memory card open it from there, and its settings and data stay on the MMCE. Tested on a console with a USB drive and an MX4SIO; the internal HDD, and updating the program in place on these devices, have not been tested on a console yet.
- SAS package. It finds SD2Cloud in any folder of
APPS(a renamed folder no longer breaks the shortcut and IGR), and it is updated together with the program. - Sync per card. A card's options (TRIANGLE) have "Disable sync" and "Enable sync", for any card. While several cards are sent, SQUARE skips the one on its way, this time or for good.
- Cards grouped by Game2Folder.ini. A folder shared by several games shows their names instead of its code. A card the sd2psx no longer opens for its game is marked, and its options can move its saves to the card that is used.
- MMCE. What the screens called "microSD" is now "MMCE", as the PS2 and its launchers name it.
- The texts on screen were reviewed: shorter, and in the usual words.
- The screen of a card being worked on shows a 3D sd2psx, now also while a card is restored, installed, copied to a device or created.
- A large memory card file (32 MB or more) is installed in one pass, and SD2Cloud warns before it replaces a card.
- Fixes: whether a card is in use is checked on the slot before it is written, and "New card" never replaces a file that is already there.

- Copies a whole card, as a

SD2Cloud beta (cb4a730)
Built automatically from the latest change to main (cb4a730):
The logo at the top of the README
This is the beta channel: every change comes out here before it is tested the way a version is, so it may have bugs. The stable version is the release marked "Latest".
To get the betas from SD2Cloud itself: Settings > Update channel > Beta. Choosing Stable there again offers the way back.
SD2CLOUD-DEBUG.ELF is this same build with a log, for reporting a problem: copy it to the microSD and open it as any program (the Files tab of SD2Cloud opens it); when it closes, it writes SD2Cloud/debug-log.txt there. It keeps its own state and its own folder on Drive, so it asks about the first sync again and leaves the real backups alone. IGR and the shortcut on the memory card go on opening the normal SD2Cloud.
O IGR e o atalho do memory card continuam abrindo o SD2Cloud normal.

SD2Cloud 1.5.1
SD2Cloud v1.5.1
Manage and back up your sd2psx memory cards, right on your PS2.
What's new in 1.5.1
- Update channels. Settings has "Update channel": Stable, the released versions, or Beta, a build made from every change (the
betapre-release), which may have bugs. Going back to Stable offers the stable version again. - SAS package. What automatic sync keeps on the memory card is now the
APP_SD2CLOUDfolder, the Save Application System way: the IGR helper and a shortcut that opens SD2Cloud from the PS2 browser, with its 3D icon (about 240 KB). In OPL, "IGR Path" ismc0:/APP_SD2CLOUD/IGR.ELF. A helper installed by an earlier version (mc0:/BOOT/SD2CLOUD-IGR.ELF) keeps working.APP_SD2CLOUD.psunow comes inside the zip (Extras/) and is that folder only: the program stays on the microSD. - A new card for a game. When saved data is copied, moved or imported, the Games tab offers "New card": an empty 8 MB card for that game is made on the spot, as the device itself makes them.
- IGR path. "After IGR, open" is now "IGR path", and "Choose an ELF..." takes any program from the folders of the microSD or of a USB drive.
- MemCard PRO2. The device is now recognized by its microSD's layout (it was taken for an sd2psx and its cards were not found).
- The card in use follows a change made with the sd2psx's own buttons.
- Saved data with a title in Japanese shows its game's name instead of its code.
- Automatic sync waits longer for the network link: fixes "No network connection" right after a game.
- "About" shows the commit the program was built from.
To update, use Settings > Check for updates, or copy the new files over the old ones.
SD2Cloud runs on the PS2 itself and works with the memory cards on the microSD of sd2psx-family devices (sd2psXtd firmware: sd2psx, PSXMemCard, PSXMemCard Gen2, PicoMemcard+/Zero). No PC required.
Cloud sync
- Syncs your memory cards with Google Drive, on demand or automatically every time you exit a game with IGR. Only the cards that changed are uploaded.

- Imports
.psufiles into any card and exports any item of a card as a.psu, from and to the microSD or a USB drive (the Files tab).
Also
- Every operation that uploads, writes or deletes data asks for confirmation; uploads can be cancelled with the Circle button.
- For OPL builds that do not list the apps on the sd2psx microSD: copy the
APPS/SD2Cloudfolder to a USB drive or an MX4SIO card as well and open SD2Cloud from there. On a USB drive, OPL's IGR can run the helper from that folder, with nothing installed on the memory card. - Settings on START: sync all cards, automatic sync on or off, IGR helper, the program to open after IGR, language, backups per card, backup format, check for updates, Google account and About. Changes are saved to
SD2Cloud/sd2cloud.inion the microSD. - Returns to OPL on the microSD, a memory card, USB, MX4SIO or the internal HDD (exFAT or APA), loading only the drivers of that device.

SD2Cloud 1.5
SD2Cloud v1.5
Manage and back up your sd2psx memory cards, right on your PS2.
What's new in 1.5
- Memory card files. The Files tab opens
.mcd, a MemCard PRO2's.mc2,.ps2, OPL's virtual memory cards (.bin) and the.zipthat "Copy to a device" writes. The card inside is shown like any other, its saved data can be copied to your cards, and SQUARE installs it on the microSD: as a new card (numbered, a game's, or one more BootCard channel) or in place of an existing one. A folder that already has all its channels can get one more. - All saves. The Games tab starts with a screen that shows the saved data of every game card together.
- Faster, and with a progress screen. Importing a
.psu, and copying or moving saved data between cards, now shows the save's icon, a progress bar and a way to cancel (the card is left as it was). It is also about four times faster: a 1.6 MB save that took close to 30 seconds on an sd2psx now takes 6. Deleting, exporting and reading icons got faster too. - Start other programs. X on an ELF in the Files tab runs it, and "Exit to" has a new "Run an ELF..." item. Saved data that is an application (a folder with a
title.cfg, as the Save Application System keeps them) gets "Start application": SD2Cloud switches the sd2psx to that card and starts it. - The sd2psx taken out. If the device is removed while SD2Cloud is open (to change its microSD, for example), SD2Cloud says so and, once it is back, reads everything again from the microSD that is in it.
- Automatic sync. Fixed the "Unable to obtain an IP address from the router" failures after a game. A sync that fails now leaves a note in
SD2Cloud/sync-error.txt. - MemCard PRO2 (experimental). The device is recognized (its
.mc2cards, in/PS2), and switching cards from the app is offered as a preview. SD2Cloud has not been tried on one yet. - Files tab. SQUARE on a
.psuinstalls it without opening it first; when a file of the same name is already there, SQUARE keeps both. - Saved data without an icon shows the PS2 browser's blue cube; a game's folder is marked with a small arrow.
- New download:
APP_SD2CLOUD.psu, SD2Cloud as a Save Application System (SAS) package: theAPP_SD2CLOUDfolder, with its own 3D icon for the PS2 browser. Installed on a memory card, it updates itself there and the automatic sync works from there (OPL's "IGR Path":mc?:/APP_SD2CLOUD/SD2CLOUD-IGR.ELF).
- The first setup offers to turn on automatic sync: it says how much space the IGR helper takes on the memory card, installs it once you agree and shows the path to set in OPL. The helper can be uninstalled in the settings, and SD2Cloud can be kept in any folder of the microSD.
Memory card manager
- Shows the saved data of each card the way the PS2 browser does, with animated 3D icons.
- Copies, moves and deletes saved data between the cards on the microSD (the destination's free space is shown), and uploads a single item to Drive as a .psu file.
- Copies a whole card, as a
.zipwith the.mcdor the.ps2inside, to a folder of the microSD or of a USB drive. - Organizes the cards in tabs: numbered cards, game (Game ID) cards, in folders named after each game, and boot cards.
- Marks the card the sd2psx is using and can make it take another one.
- Imports
.psufiles into any card and exports any item of a card as a.psu, from and to the microSD or a USB drive (the Files tab).
Also
- Every operation that uploads, writes or deletes data asks for confirmation; uploads can be cancelled with the Circle button.
- Built-in updates, verified against the SHA-256 published on GitHub.
- Interface inspired by the PlayStation BB Navigator, with sound effects.
- English and Portuguese.

SD2CLOUD.ELF and SD2CLOUD-IGR.ELF are the same files included in the zip, also attached individually so that SD2Cloud can update itself. APP_SD2CLOUD.psu is the same program as a Save Application System (SAS) package: the APP_SD2CLOUD folder, with its own 3D icon.
APP_SD2CLOUD.psu was replaced on October 7, 2026 by a newer build (commit 63cdae2): the one first published installed its updates on the microSD instead of the memory card, and the automatic sync could not be turned on from it. The zip and the two ELFs are the ones first published.
SD2Cloud 1.4
SD2Cloud v1.4
Manage and back up your sd2psx memory cards, right on your PS2.
What's new in 1.4
- The card the sd2psx is using is marked on the list, and a card's options (TRIANGLE) have a new item, "Insert into sd2psx", which makes the sd2psx take that card. It takes a BootCard only with Autoboot turned on in its settings, and a game's card only with Game ID.
- A card in use by the sd2psx can now be changed (copying, moving, deleting, importing): SD2Cloud asks, switches the sd2psx to another card, makes the change and switches back.
- Games tab: the cards come in folders named after each game, as the sd2psx names it. X opens a folder, O goes back.
- The saved data of a card is listed newest first, as in the PS2 browser.
- Copy to a device now writes the card inside a
.zip, which takes less time than the whole file. To put such a copy back on the microSD, extract it on a PC for now. - Save icons that did not show (some compressed and some plain textures) now do.
- Exit to offers "Return to Browser" (it was "PS2 menu").
- Built-in updates, verified against the SHA-256 published on GitHub.
- Interface inspired by the PlayStation BB Navigator, with sound effects.
- English and Portuguese.
Installation: extract SD2Cloud-v1.4.zip to the root of the sd2psx microSD and open SD2Cloud from the OPL Apps tab. See README.txt for details.

- Automatic sync can be turned off in Settings (Automatic sync: On or Off;
auto_syncinsd2cloud.ini). Off, exiting a game with IGR goes straight to the program opened after it, without starting SD2Cloud. The same happens while no Google account is connected. - For this, update the IGR helper once: Settings > IGR helper > Update.

SD2Cloud 1.3
SD2Cloud v1.3
Manage and back up your sd2psx memory cards, right on your PS2.
What's new in 1.3
- Copy to a device: a card's options (TRIANGLE on the main screen) can now copy the whole card, as a file, to a folder of the microSD or of a USB drive. SD2Cloud asks whether to write a
.mcd(sd2psx) or a.ps2(PCSX2), then reads the file back and compares it.
What's new in 1.2.2
- The question about connecting a Google account at startup has a third answer, "Don't ask again" (TRIANGLE): it is kept in
sd2cloud.ini(ask_connect = no) and the account can still be connected in Settings. - Closing the IGR helper's window in Settings no longer freezes for a few seconds: the helper on the memory card is only read again after it was installed or removed.
What's new in 1.2.1
- Copy, on a save's page, now lists the Files tab among its destinations: pick the microSD or the USB drive, go to a folder and press TRIANGLE to export that save there as a
.psu.
What's new in 1.2
- Files: a new tab on the main screen browses the folders of the microSD and of a USB drive (FAT32 or exFAT). X on a
.psufile opens the saved data it holds, to import it into any card; TRIANGLE exports an item of a card, as a.psu, into the folder shown. A file is checked whole before the card is changed, and what is written is read back and compared. No Google account or network is needed for this. - From 1.1: the backup format setting,
.mcd(the sd2psx's own) or.ps2(the format PCSX2 uses).
