Draw the line — five colors, three styles

Highlighting grew a style system. Pick from five colors and three styles — highlight, underline, or squiggly — with proper vertical-rl support (side lines drawn on the correct edge, 傍線-style, in saturated ink that survives dark mode). Tap an existing highlight to restyle it in place; new highlights reuse your last choice. English selections snap to word boundaries, Kindle-style, and the selection menu splits into two floating pills that stay out of the text's way.

Reader

  • Chapter name in the toolbar — desktop sub-row, mobile second line
  • Scrubbing shows a bubble with the target percentage and the chapter you'd land in
  • Escape closes every reader overlay, topmost first
  • Larger scrubber thumb on touch screens; tooltips on every toolbar button

Local books ↔ cloud

  • Upload local books to your server from the local shelf — if the file already exists there, it links instead of duplicating
  • Reading status syncs both ways for linked local books: mark a book on the web and the app shows it, finish it on the app and the web knows (per-field last-write-wins; migration 052 runs automatically on upgrade)
  • Local books auto-mark "reading" after two minutes and "read" at the last page — even serverless; the status ships once the book links
  • Local cards show reading status and progress; visiting the shelf refreshes links, so deleting the server copy clears the cloud badge

Library

  • Calibre-style table view on desktop: sortable columns (title, author, series, status, size, added), grid/table toggle per user
  • The two searches, clarified: honest tab names and placeholders, Enter opens the first hit, library pages say where they search, and an empty library search offers the global one
  • On the app, "All books" is now "Cloud books" with a cloud icon, mirroring "This device"

Fixes & polish

  • Home stats sized for phones: the heatmap defaults to recent weeks with a full-year toggle, and the streak row opens the goal editor
  • Light/dark parity pass: primary buttons, reader settings selection, toast colors
  • Destructive actions demoted into menus on shelf and local-book cards; shelves can be renamed
  • Reading progress folded into the status pill on the book detail page ("Reading · 34%")
  • Gacha got a proper pull button and some idle motion; the login page shows the bee
