To install on Windows, download and run StellarMaps_0.9.0_x64-setup.exe below. (Other files provided for other operating systems.)

Change log:

New features:

  • Added tooltips to the map, showing system names and colony names/populations
  • Added setting how federation members are colored in unions mode (by founder or by current leader)

Notable tweaks:

  • Lots of under the hood changes to how the maps are drawn
    • App performance should be generally improved
    • Changes to map settings are no longer applied until you click "Apply Changes"
    • When panning or zooming, you may notice temporary blurriness; this is expected

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed map crash when border width set very high
  • Fixed map crash when save data has no bypasses
  • Fixed map crash when save data has no sectors
