Titanfall 2 VR Keyboard and Mouse v1.0.2

Choose a tag to compare

@obious obious released this 19 Oct 05:56

Play CircuitLord's Titanfall 2 VR mod with keyboard and mouse. The headset renders and looks around freely; the mouse turns and aims, WASD moves, and the game's own guns, reloads, crosshair and HUD work as in the flat game.

Download: CLTFV_KBM-1.0.2.exe below. Run it, let it find Titanfall 2 and install Titanfall 2 VR, leave Keyboard and mouse on and press Launch in VR.

New in 1.0.2

  • Fixed: using the Titan's vortex shield crashed the game ("Vortex command pose unavailable", and later "native entity handle index changed"). The shield now aims with the mouse, like the flat game.
  • The launcher window fits everything without scrolling.
  • New name: Titanfall 2 VR Keyboard and Mouse (based on CircuitLord's Titanfall 2 VR).
  • Updating from 1.0.1 needs nothing extra; the launcher re-applies the patch at the next launch.

Features

  • Keyboard and mouse switch: turn it off to play Titanfall 2 VR with motion controllers again. The launcher swaps between the two at every launch and keeps the untouched plugin as a backup.
  • Mouse tilts the view (barf mode): mouse up and down also tilts the headset view, pivoting at your head.
  • Skip calibration: no arm-span and height setup at startup.
  • Key binds, set in the launcher: recenter the view (F9), switch the sight eye (F7), barf mode on/off (F8).
  • Sights line up with your dominant eye when aiming down sights (Sight Eye and Sight Height in the in-game VR settings).

Requirements

  • Titanfall 2 and Titanfall 2 VR v1.0.17. The keyboard and mouse patch fits only that plugin build; after a Titanfall 2 VR update the launcher says the version isn't supported yet, and you can still play with controllers.

Known issues

  • Red dot and holo sight reticles only line up from one eye position, so shots can land a little above or below the dot.
  • Scoped weapons switch to the flat game's full-screen scope and are not usable yet.
  • With barf mode on, the body model tilts with the view when looking down.

Windows warning: the launcher isn't code-signed, so SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway.

This is a fan-made modification of CircuitLord's work, not made or endorsed by CircuitLord, Respawn or EA.
