Register a Profile
🇬🇧 English · 🇷🇺 Русский
One-time, about $0.01, and required before you can issue anything. The Profile page.
Do not use the wallet holding your savings. Make a fresh one for ODP and nothing else.
Your wallet address becomes your identity in this system, permanently. Your profile ID stays bound to it, and there is no recovery: lose the wallet and you cannot register new passports under that profile. Passports already issued stay valid and verifiable forever — that part does not depend on you.
Two ways, both offered on the page:
- Browser extension — MetaMask, Rabby, Brave Wallet. Desktop only.
- Mobile wallet via WalletConnect — Tangem, MetaMask mobile, Rainbow. Scan the QR or approve in the app. No extension needed.
On iPhone or Safari there is no extension. MetaMask runs as an app with its own built-in browser — open the site inside that app, or use WalletConnect from the phone.
POL is the fee token on Polygon. A few cents' worth covers many operations. Every write to the registry costs a fee; the project itself charges nothing.
| Who it is for | |
|---|---|
| C — Creator | Individual artist, photographer, maker, craftsperson. Registering yourself. |
| B — Brand | Company, studio, label, collective. Organizations. |
| P — Proof institution | Expert, auction house, certification body. Can attach attestations to other people's passports. |
| M — Museum | Collection or museum: passports for objects in institutional custody, including works by artists who are no longer alive. |
Choose deliberately. The type is part of the record and changing it means a new profile.
Publish your profile ID where you visibly control the channel — your website's about page, your gallery's artist page, your studio's Instagram bio.
This is the whole trust mechanism. The chain proves the record exists; your public claim proves it is yours. A profile ID that appears nowhere but the registry is anonymous, and passports issued under it prove correspondingly little.
Do this before you issue your first passport, not after.
