WinDock 0.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@obrenoalvim obrenoalvim released this 07 Oct 17:48

Download WinDock.exe, double-click, and use the tray icon (no .NET install needed).

Fixed in 0.2.1

  • Opening a pinned Fortnite / Epic Games / Steam game could open a File Explorer window instead of the game. Game shortcuts now hand their link straight to the launcher. To refresh pins you already have, apply the preset once more (or switch to another and back).

Windows shows a SmartScreen warning because the file is not code-signed yet: More info, then Run anyway. Tested on Windows 11; reports from Windows 10 are welcome. See the README for shortcuts and usage.

WinDock 0.2.0

@obrenoalvim obrenoalvim released this 07 Oct 17:32

Download WinDock.exe, double-click, and use the tray icon (no .NET install needed).

New in 0.2.0

  • The interface is available in English and Portuguese. English is the default; use the EN / PT buttons at the top of the window or the tray menu, and the choice is remembered.
  • Starter presets are named Work, Games, Study and Weekend (you can rename them).

Everything from 0.1.0 is included: presets that swap the pinned apps of the real Windows taskbar by schedule or with Ctrl+Alt+1..9, a program picker with Start Menu apps, Microsoft Store apps and installed Steam and Epic Games games, a cached taskbar picture so known presets switch in about half a second, and "Always pinned" programs.

Windows shows a SmartScreen warning because the file is not code-signed yet: More info, then Run anyway. Tested on Windows 11; reports from Windows 10 are welcome. See the README for shortcuts and usage.
