Notes disappear from the project plugin

What happened?

When i open the project plugin the list of notes are empty. Sometimes the reappear if I create a new note from the plugin but the all disappear again when i switch project. I have tried turning off all my community plugins but it doesnt make a difference. I have the latest version of both Obsidian and the Project plugin. I use Obsidian Sync. When i reinstall the plugin it works for a while and then stops working again.

What did you expect to happen?

That all notes appear in the project view.

How can we reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible)?

I ran into a similar issue when I was setting things up. What worked for me—though I'm not exactly sure which step did the trick—was uninstalling everything and then reinstalling it. I also made sure to avoid using any weird characters like hyphens or parentheses in the folder names for the projects. I also created a note in each folder I planned to turn into a project folder before building the project on top of them. After doing all that, it seemed to work. Fingers crossed!

Hi, this is probably due to a missing target folder. Folder you want to store your notes is expected to be created prior to adding notes in Projects. #663

Hello, I might have worded it wrong, but this started happening some time after I started using the plugin with existing folders with notes in them. As I wrote in my original post, it works for a while if I reinstall the plugin and set my projects up in the same folders.

Sounds like a syncing problem. Have you got some local-only vault to test if Projects plugin works well there?

Or, could you access the console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + i when you see the blank project view?

An update. It was just me beeing an idiot without knowing it. All my project live in subfolders to the folder "Work", but i changed it from "work" to "Work" a while ago and that breaks the link becouse of case sensitivity. What is instresting thou is that it sometimes worked dispite it beeing case sensitiv when i created a new note. That might be something to look into.
