@ondave ondave released this 01 Aug 06:35

Final release of the Python bindings in the original oceanum-io/eidos-python namespace, matching renderer v0.11.1.

What changed since 0.11.0

  • New pointcloud worldlayer — oceanum/eidos/node/worldlayer/pointcloud.py (113 lines), generated from the renderer's pointcloud.json schema.
  • Model rebuild against the current schema — regenerated across common, data, geojson, panel, root, theme, the node/* modules and the remaining worldlayers (label, scenegraph, seasurface, track, wmts).
  • TimeControl now carries zoomable and lockToNow (EID-53 follow mode), replacing the older zoomToNow / zoomToExtent.
  • __version__ bumped to 0.11.1, derived as always from the renderer's package.json at generation time (autogen/gen_models.sh).

29 files changed, 194 insertions, 52 deletions.

Provenance

Models are generated by autogen/gen_models.sh from a sibling renderer checkout (../../packages/schemas/src/eidos), with the version read from that checkout's package.json. This tree corresponds to the renderer while it carried 0.11.1 — after the version bump on 2026-06-30 and before the timeControl.global addition on 2026-07-04.

Note on this namespace

The Python bindings moved to eidosxr/eidosxr-python (package eidosxr) on 2026-07-07. This 0.11.1 tag closes out the oceanum.eidos line at its final state; new work continues in the eidosxr package.

Not published to PyPI. The latest published oceanum-eidos remains 0.11.0 (uploaded 2026-06-08). Publishing 0.11.1 is a separate, irreversible step — a version number cannot be reused on PyPI — and this repository has no release automation, so it would be a manual build + twine upload.
