Release notes
Fulcrum is now Decitect
Same application, new name: Decitect, Decision Architecture Organisational Software. The model, board and guide are unchanged. The website is now https://decitect.com.
Your work comes with you
On first launch Decitect moves your Fulcrum settings and last session (~/.fulcrum) into ~/.decitect. If the move fails it keeps reading the old folder, so nothing is lost. Saved organisations and exported plans open as before.
Upgrading on Windows
Run the Decitect setup as usual. If it finds Fulcrum it offers, ticked by default, to remove it once Decitect is installed, taking only what provably belonged to Fulcrum: its folder, Apps list entry, shortcuts and sign-in entry. Close Fulcrum first if it is running. A Fulcrum icon pinned to the taskbar needs pinning again. Installed Fulcrum releases are offered this setup by their own update check.
Upgrading on macOS and Linux
Decitect installs alongside Fulcrum; your settings still come across. Remove the old copy afterwards: on macOS drag Fulcrum from Applications to the Bin; on Linux run flatpak uninstall uk.codecrafter.Fulcrum.
Smaller changes
The donate button now goes to Decitect's own payment page.
