OfficeDex 1.0.15 is available for macOS Apple Silicon, Intel Macs, and Windows x64.

  • Choose Stable or Test in Settings → About & support. Stable is this package's default; explicit choices persist across launches and upgrades.
  • Updated first-run setup, file associations, document recovery drafts and the macOS installer layout.
  • Improved batch file tasks, queue controls, retries, explicit output names and literal document/slide instructions.
  • Switching between Chat and Local updates the Word toolbar without reloading the document or discarding unsaved edits.

Existing 1.0.13 users receive this release through the stable updater. Users of the local 1.0.14 test package can switch to Stable to receive 1.0.15. This release does not publish a Test feed.

macOS packages are Developer ID signed, Apple notarized, and stapled. Choose the DMG matching your Mac: darwin-arm64 for Apple Silicon or darwin-x64 for Intel (macOS 12+).

Windows 10/11 x64 packages are Authenticode signed by 武汉初心科技有限公司 (ChuXin) with SHA-256 and an RFC 3161 timestamp. Use the windows-amd64-installer.exe for a per-user installation, or extract the entire windows-amd64.zip and launch officedex.exe while keeping its adjacent folders. WebView2 is required; the embedded bootstrapper prompts to install it when missing. New Windows releases may still receive a SmartScreen reputation warning.

The stable update manifest includes all three platforms. Windows updates use the signed installer; macOS updates use the corresponding ZIP.

The supplemental Intel and Windows builds use b4af52f, integrating the Windows and Intel packaging/runtime fixes with the 1.0.15 source. Existing Apple Silicon assets are unchanged.

Validation: macOS Gatekeeper and stapler checks; PPTX generation from the read-only Intel DMG; Windows 11 runtime resolution and two deterministic PPTX-generation runs; signed executable, native-component, installer and uninstaller verification. Separate Intel Mac and Windows 10 installation tests have not been performed.
