⚡ Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Jigar Tools in less than 2 minutes.


📥 Prerequisites

Ensure your environment meets the following requirements before starting:

Requirement Details
Operating System Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
Android Device USB Debugging enabled
Connection High-quality USB 3.0 / Type-C cable plugged into a USB 3.0 port

Important

To enable USB Debugging on your Android phone:

  1. Go to Settings > About Phone.
  2. Tap Build Number 7 times until you see the "You are now a developer!" toast.
  3. Go back to the main Settings menu, open Developer Options, and toggle USB Debugging to ON.

🚀 Step 1: Initial Setup

  1. Download: Grab the latest release package (Jigar_Tools_2.0-Gold.zip) from the Releases page.
  2. Extract: Extract the ZIP contents to a folder on your PC (e.g., D:\JigarTools).
  3. Launch: Right-click Jigar_Tools_Setup.bat and select Run as Administrator to initialize the control center and automatically provision ADB binaries.

🔄 Step 2: Running a Sync

  1. Connect your Android phone to your PC via a USB cable.
  2. Grant the Allow USB Debugging prompt on your phone screen.
  3. In the Jigar Tools launcher, select Option 1: Sync Files (Android -> PC).
  4. You will be prompted to select your backup folder or reuse the previous path from settings.json.
  5. The engine will scan your device files and display the Interactive Exclude Menu.
  6. Check any folders or files you want to skip, then click Proceed to start the high-speed transfer.

⏪ Step 3: Running a Restore

  1. Select Option 2: Restore Files (PC -> Android) in the launcher.
  2. Choose the specific backup snapshot index you wish to restore.
  3. The Interactive Include Menu will open.
  4. Select the files/folders you want to restore (they default to unchecked to prevent accidental overwrites).
  5. Click Proceed. The engine will restore your files and automatically trigger Android's Media Scanner to update your Gallery.
