Purchase Kit
Buy a hardware kit here or buy components yourself from the Bill of Materials (BOM).
Connecting Components
Assemble your Raspberry Pi 5, and using any port, connect it to the RSPduo with the USB-B cable.
Connect an antenna to the "Tuner 1" port of the RSPduo.
OS Installation
If you purchased a kit, a pre-imaged microSD card is included and can be inserted directly into the Raspberry Pi. Otherwise, follow these instructions to flash a 64 GB or larger card.
Initial Setup
When the Raspberry Pi is booted with OWL OS and not connected to the internet, it will become a Wi-Fi hotspot named "node-setup". On a computer or phone, connect to this network to be served a setup page, where available wifi networks can be chosen to connect to.
The network "node-setup" will disappear. Then connect your computer to the same network as the Raspberry Pi, and put "owl.local" in your browser to access the OWL-OS configuration page.
