v2.59.0: only what you saw

What's New

Delete only the version you saw. git_delete_objects checks an expected stamp or sha256 per object under the object's own lock, right before its DELETE. An object that changed is kept and reported. Dependent objects go first. git_object_versions reads the versions in advance.

Transports: queue, never import.

• Upload a released transport and add it to the import buffer. The import stays a human step in STMS.
• Also new: transport of copies, entries added to and removed from a request (SE09), and requests filed under a CTS project.

abapGit offline zip import. Runs as a background job, with status reporting and a delete of exactly what the import brought.

Code, run and checked

• execute_abap and ABAP Unit answer in JSON.
• RETURN_VALUE returns any number of values.
• A test class ABAP Unit refused to run is not a pass.
• check-abap syntax-checks a snippet without running it.
• Long calls take a timeout.
• Exact-name search and a package inventory in one call.

Safety

• --read-only covers every write and run path, enforced by an invariant over all 433 tools and actions.
• Table reads with caller SQL are refused under --block-free-sql.
• Typed abapGit files take their name from the file name, never from the content.
• Every ZADT_VSP WebSocket authenticates the way its ADT client does.

Graph and health

• Programs and their includes show up as callers.
• The CLI and MCP share one data source.
• Health reads classes and function groups, and names what it could not read.

Create: domains, data elements, structures and append structures, message classes, enhancement implementations.

CI:

• before/after test numbers on every PR;
• -race, fuzzing and a correctness lint on new code;
• a complexity and token drift report;
• a blocking leak scan;
• an advisory integration run against the OSD SAP emulator.

Behaviour changes you may notice

• execute_abap answers JSON.
• vsp execute and vsp test exit non-zero when nothing ran.
• git_delete_objects refuses object maps with unknown keys.
• vsp update follows the repository the binary was released from.
