A menu-bar meeting recorder + transcriber for macOS. One click records your mic and all system audio as two separate tracks, then transcribes both on-device and writes a speaker-tagged transcript. Nothing ever leaves the machine.

Install

Open the .dmg and drag quill.app to Applications. Signed and notarized by Apple — it just opens, no Gatekeeper warnings.

Optional — use the CLI too:

sudo ln -sf /Applications/quill.app/Contents/MacOS/quill /usr/local/bin/quill
quill doctor

Requires: macOS 15+, Apple Silicon.
