v1.0.0 The "Real World" update
It’s been a while since the first version of mkc was published in April 2024. Back then, it was more of a "let's see if this works" prototype.
Today, I’m excited to finally push this major update. I’ve completely rewritten the core logic to reflect how I’ve been actually using this library in real projects. It’s now more stable, more idiomatic, and much easier to work with.
What’s changed:
- Cleaned up the API: No more messy procedural calls. Everything is now neatly organized into a proper Go structure.
- Battle-tested: I’ve moved in the features and fixes that I refined while using this tool in production-like environments.
- Reliability: Improved how the library handles memory and errors - it’s much more robust now.
A quick heads-up:
Since this is a total rewrite, it’s not compatible with the old version. But don't worry, the new API is much simpler! Check out the updated examples in the README to see how to switch.
