The installers detect the host architecture, verify the archive against checksums.txt, and write only to $HOME/.local/bin. They do not modify shell profiles or PATH.

Fixes

• Launch after lock, manifest edits, or mode changes while another session is running. Rebuilds publish a verified staging generation; existing sessions keep their original files.
• Preserve executable permissions on staged skill and hook scripts, and make copied configuration files writable without changing the originals.
• Show package resolution and elapsed progress during slow commands. Honor --no-progress and --quiet, and preserve the launched agent's terminal descriptors.

Validation

Full Go tests on Linux, macOS, and Windows; the race suite; portable environment evaluation fixtures; installer and release-description checks; compiled concurrent-launch and terminal-descriptor regressions.
