Vanta Admin 0.23.0 is a complete visual overhaul of the Django admin experience.

Changed

  • Refreshed the overall look of the dashboard, menus, tables, forms, filters, login screens, messages, and two-factor screens.
  • Made dark mode and light mode feel more consistent from page to page.
  • Simplified colors, spacing, borders, buttons, and other everyday controls.
  • Gave the admin a calmer, cleaner appearance that is easier to scan.

Fixed

  • Fixed parts of the admin that could look out of place or use different styling between screens and theme modes.

Impact

  • Vanta Admin feels more like one complete product instead of a collection of separately styled pages.
  • Your normal Django admin models, permissions, forms, and workflows continue to work as before.
