What's new since 1.3.0-rc.1

• Double-clickable macOS app in a DMG (guided menu in Terminal), Windows GUI executable, and
  a Linux archive with ./start.sh — the same guided Small/Medium/Large/Full flow plus the
  advanced Single mode, bounded campaigns, checkpoints, and resumable uploads.
• Windows GUI: run-row rebuilt, Start is Alt+B (Alt+R retired — NVIDIA overlay conflict),
  Stop Alt+S; media/probe children no longer open blank terminal windows or steal foreground.
• Builds embed the frozen Test Suite v1 (pack digest d20407f8d78f152f06c3b7271881d8b3f07d2b76cf3a2642b241162d666ac150)
  and the pinned FFmpeg/ffprobe + VMAF runtime; no first-run downloads are required.

Build provenance

• Windows binaries: source 0ce1acc2bda56d2c8f9404b9005ebaba7552823a (real git checkout), Python 3.12.10,
  canonical build script; accepted on the physical Windows 11 / RTX 5090 host with bounded no-submit
  GUI acceptance (start/stop/completion/idle-retry, window-only evidence).
• macOS/Linux binaries: source 7a232a154df3f220d8c9b40355261dd24aa9e35b (ancestor of 0ce1acc; the
  intervening patches are Windows-only), built on macOS 27 (arm64) and Ubuntu 24.04 (x86_64).

Signing and platform limits (honest)

• macOS: ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID, not notarized; arm64 only; requires macOS 27 or later;
  first launch may need “Open Anyway”. Intel/older macOS unverified.
• Windows: no Authenticode (SmartScreen warning expected); accepted on one physical host.
• Linux: unsigned archive; x86-64; accepted on Ubuntu 24.04.
• 1.3.0-rc.1 remains published and unmodified as superseded plain CLI builds.
