v0.6.2
Try Omarchy v0.6.2
Download TryOmarchy.exe below, or let your installed launcher update itself. Your guest disk, files and settings carry over.
- Security fix for the quick-start account. If you forwarded a port to Omarchy's SSH (guest port 22), and especially if you made it a LAN forward, anyone who could reach that port could log in as
omarchy/omarchyand use its passwordless sudo. SSH now accepts only keys for the quick-start account, and Try Omarchy authorizes your key when you set up the forward. Existing quick-start installs get this on their first boot after updating. Accounts you created yourself keep password login. - Your own account is the default for new installs. The first-launch screen now preselects "Choose my username and password". The quick start is still one click away. Installs you already set up keep the choice you made.
- The quick-start welcome notice now suggests running
passwdto set your own password. - Setup now checks for enough free space to unpack Omarchy before downloading it, instead of running out partway through.
