@tlambert03 I see it has been added to two different sections in the documentation, "readers & writers" and "Zarr validation"

The separation between convertion/ validation / reading & writing is often blurred, but while we don't refactor the page, it may be cleaner to just pick one place (there is no duplication for other tools afaik)

Would you have a preferrence there?

Hmm... it's decidedly both. If it has to be in only one section, i suppose it should go in validation, since it's models first, and i/o only with extras.

But most people will probably use it for reading/writing in practice 🤔

I'd vote for putting it in the validation section with text like

Bottom-up python library with models and CLI for creating & validating OME-Zarr groups and documents with extras for array-backend-agnostic I/O
