Omega Boost Recomp

Status: Complete / Playable

This project is a recompilation of Omega Boost, the 1999 PlayStation 3D action shooter developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Computer Entertainment.

The game has been successfully recompiled into a native application and is complete and playable.

About

Omega Boost is a high-speed 3D action shooter for the original PlayStation. The game puts the player in control of the Omega Boost mech in a mission to travel through time and stop the creation of a computer virus threatening humanity.

This project uses mstan's PSXRecomp tool to recompile the original PlayStation game into native source code that can be built and run as a standalone application.

The difficult work of developing the PSXRecomp technology is thanks to mstan and the PSXRecomp project.

This repository focuses on the game-specific recompilation project and source code.
