Core Engine Binaries In-App Updater

  • Automated Core Engine Updates: Download and update core sidecar binaries (xray.exe, tun2socks.exe, wintun.dll) directly within the application without reinstalling.
  • SHA256 & Version Verification: Integrated checksum integrity checks and binary version introspection.
  • Safe Hot-Reloading: Automatically pauses and reconnects active VPN tunnels during binary updates.
  • AppData Prioritization: Updated binaries are stored in %APPDATA%/com.hypervpn.app/bin/ with seamless fallback to bundled binaries.

UI & Design Polish

  • Liquid Glass Wave Animation: Apple-inspired fluid glass wave effect propagating across the Header during connect/disconnect transitions.
  • Settings Tab Enhancements: Dedicated Core Binaries management card with live status, individual update actions, and real-time download progress meters.
