omnideck application v0.1.0-beta.8

Beta.8 brings the complete omnideck agent workspace to Windows, macOS, and
Linux in a guided desktop application. It adds reliable native zoom and rolls
up the latest improvements to setup, downloads, updates, and day-to-day desktop
use.

Your private agent workspace

  • Chat with agents that can remember context across conversations, use skills,
    and delegate work to sub-agents.
  • Create reusable agent profiles with your preferred model, instructions,
    skills, and inference settings.
  • Let agents browse the web, fill forms, and run code in an isolated
environment, or schedule Routines for recurring work.
  • Connect OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, other OpenAI-compatible providers, or
local Ollama models. Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts, and HTTP integrations
are available when you want agents to work with other services.

omnideck keeps your workspace data on your computer, includes no telemetry,
and requires no omnideck account. You choose when to connect an external model
provider or integration.

A more native desktop experience

  • Zoom the entire application with Ctrl/Cmd and +, -, or 0. Tabs, menus,
and previews now stay aligned at every zoom level.
  • Agent exports, skill exports, and generated files download without navigating
away from omnideck. A confirmation shows the saved filename and destination.
  • Software-update notices let you install now, wait until later, or skip a
    version without interrupting your work.
  • External web links open in your default browser, while copy, paste, and
refresh shortcuts behave as expected in the application.
  • macOS disk images now open with a clear drag-to-Applications installation
    window.

Install or update

Download the installer that matches your computer:

  • Windows 11, x64 or ARM64: .exe
  • macOS, Apple Silicon or Intel: .dmg
  • Ubuntu, Debian, or Linux Mint, x64 or ARM64: .deb
  • Fedora, RHEL, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, or openSUSE, x64 or ARM64: .rpm
  • Other supported desktop Linux distributions, x64 or ARM64: .AppImage

Open omnideck and follow the guided setup; no container or command-line
knowledge is required. Installing over an earlier preview preserves your
conversations, memory, profiles, routines, generated files, and local runtime
data.

Preview notes

These preview packages do not yet carry paid publisher identities. Windows may
show a Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warning, and macOS may require approval
in Privacy & Security before opening omnideck.
