How is it different from online transcription services?
OnceScribe runs entirely on your device. Your audio and transcripts never leave your machine, so you keep full control over sensitive content.
Do I need to download models?
Yes. On first launch, OnceScribe guides you to download a Whisper or Qwen3-ASR model to your local machine. You can also import custom models.
Which languages and platforms are supported?
macOS 11+ (Intel & Apple Silicon) and Windows 10/11. The UI is available in multiple languages, and Whisper supports 99+ transcription languages.
Does Pro support multiple devices?
Yes. A Pro license supports binding on multiple devices. You can unbind old devices in Settings when switching machines.
